Trouble shooting

Iīm using the GINA/DARLA sound card on and Win 2000/ Win XP system. Broadcast sometimes stops playing or freezes.

Check for IRQ problems. If your graphic card is using the same IRQ problems might occur.

I cannot play some of my Mpeg files

Radiohost is using the XAudio Mpeg decoder. The decoder does not support Mpeg files saved in the "joint stereo" format. Also, we have left out the "variable bit rate" format because we must be able to read the length of a file in order to time the play list.

Canīt copy file in Advanced monitor

Check to see if file is write protected. If you copy files from a CD media the files is probably write protected.

When i launch an application I get the following error: "System interrupted, scan drive for error?"

You might not log out properly. You must log out using the menu "External - log out" and then "Close". If you shut down the application from the task bar (at the bottom of Windows desktop) or any other way you will get this message.

In communicator, when I try to grab a track I get ERROR IN CD GRAB

First of all, the CD grab we are using is only running under Win 95/98. If you are using Win 95/98 the error message is because the grab has not been set up properly. Please read the help file for Communicator under "Setup - setup - CD Grab".

I can see the fileīs graphic display in the play list and the monitor, but not in Advanced Monitor. Is there a problem ?

Try to use "High color (16 bit)". Weīve seen some problems using "True color (24 bit)". It is not always there is a problem using 24 bit but we haveīnt been able to locate the problem further.

I want to get access to a directory in the network, but I canīt see the network.

You need to set up a link to the PC you want to see. Go to System - Link and setup the link. If you want to make a link to a PC with no Radiohost applications, simply install a Demo version of a Radiohost application on the PC and you can set up the link.

I get a "Block read from file is not a data block" error on the Data Server.

Check to see if the hard disk is near to full. There must be some Mb available on the hard disk to have the server working properly.
